Yes — through us. You scope the change with our team, we build it against the QwikBills codebase, and we deploy the updated version to your instance. Custom work is tracked on our master branch so future upgrades carry it forward cleanly without re-work. Source code is not shared, so all modifications go through this paid customisation track.
No — not by default. The perpetual licence with white-label lets you run QwikBills under your own brand for your own company's use (your staff, your customers, your subsidiaries). Reselling or sublicensing QwikBills as a SaaS to other companies under your brand is a separate reseller / partner agreement with its own commercials — talk to us if that is your model and we will structure it properly.
Your instance keeps running because the licence is perpetual. You stop receiving updates, patches, and support. Compliance changes (GST schema updates, etc.) will not be applied. You can resume AMC at any time — pricing depends on the gap.
A standard on-prem deployment takes 2–4 weeks: infra sizing, install, data migration, integration with your auth and email, white-labelling, training, and go-live. Larger rollouts with custom integrations take longer.
We support AWS, Azure, GCP, DigitalOcean, and on-prem Linux racks. The stack runs on Node.js + PostgreSQL, so anywhere those run, QwikBills runs. We provide infrastructure-as-code templates for the major clouds.
Yes. We provide migration tooling between the cloud SaaS and a perpetual deployment in either direction. Useful for clients who pilot on cloud and graduate to perpetual, or vice versa.
